Emergency Operations Center Activation
KKG brings a bench of technical expertise and a strong and unique perspective to EOC Operations based on recent activations in Northern California. KKG was deployed to work in the Napa County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) the day the 2017 North Bay Fires broke out and was deployed to the City of San Jose’s EOC during the February 2017 floods in San Jose to staff the Volunteer Coordination Unit. KKG is also in the process of completing the After Action Report for the City of Santa Rosa for the Tubbs/Nunns fire which was the most destructive fire to impact a single jurisdiction in California history. These hands on experiences in recent unprecedented events in Northern California make KKG uniquely qualified to provide subject matter expertise to EOC staff as a coach or KKG can serve in a number of roles in an EOC activation.
